Ministries
The Mission of HopeTree Family Services is to provide Christian residential and support services to at-risk children and youth, and to adults with developmental disabilities
HopeTree Family Services (formerly Virginia Baptist Children's Home & Family Services) offers a wide range of ministries for at-risk children and youth and their families. We also serve the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. Our main campus is in Salem, VA and we have a WOODS program in Craig county, Foster Care offices in Salem and Chester, as well as DDM homes across the state. An application for admission may be found here.
Developmental Disabilities Ministry provides Christian group homes across Virginia.
Treatment Foster Care & Adoption introduces children who need loving homes to the people who can provide them.
HopeTree Academy educates our residents while they cope with their individual circumstances.
Residential Care provides long-term opportunities for the spiritual, social, psychological, and emotional growth of at-risk youth.
Independent Living offers a way to gradually join the adult world of independence through life skills classes.
WOODS Programs (Wilderness Outdoor Opportunity Discovery Schools) teach discipline through high-adventure learning.
